WPI Football Draws Nine to Worcester Area All-Star Team

WORCESTER – The WPI football program listed nine members to the 2021 Worcester Area Football Association (WAFA) 30th Annual Steve "Merc" Morris All-Star Team on Tuesday morning.
Fellow defensive lineman Nica Hesel (Downington, PA) earned All-NEWMAC honors on the second team for the Crimson and Gray this fall. Hesel counted for 34 total tackles throughout all 10 games this season for WPI with 11.5 tackles for a loss including 6.5 sacks tying-second in the conference, marking 63 total yards lost, while adding two forced fumbles to the stat sheet leading to his Worcester Area second-team selection.
