TE Cary Angeline, NC State

After not drafting a tight end to replace Dan Arnold in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cardinals have reportedly signed TE Cary Angeline out of NC State, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The 6-foot-7, 250-pounder spent two years at USC before transferring to NC State, where he would earn All-ACC honorable mentions in each of the last two seasons.

In the last two years, Angeline posted a total of 52 catches for 791 yards and 11 touchdowns in 24 appearances despite only starting in half of those games.

Arnold signed a two-year contract with the Carolina Panthers this offseason.
