Brian Lang – Defensive Back #28 – Class of 2006

Updated: Apr 6

Where are you living now and what are you doing?

Massachusetts. Working in the car rental industry.

How did your involvement in athletics aid in the path that you chose?

Worked in college athletics for 10 years.

I wish I knew this when I played…

I wish that I knew just how quickly time would fly by. One minute you're going to your first ever offseason practice as a freshman and then next thing you know you're in your senior season. Cherish every moment of it while you're there.

What is the funniest thing you can remember as a player?

One pregame speech the coaches brought in a hammer and used it to smash a mini helmet.

Funniest teammate and why…

Kevin Nagahashi. No matter the situation, he always had a smile on his face.

What saying or phrase do you still hear in your head?

Your character is determined by what you do when nobody is looking.

What was your favorite non-athletic activity at Downingtown?

Pulling off the senior prank with bouncy balls all throughout the school.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

The family culture we had that lead to our success.

What would you like to share to the current and future Downingtown Football Players?

Being a Cougar is a lifelong commitment. Honor that commitment every day and cherish the moments. There are a lot of people who support you (even from afar) and will follow the continued success of the program.

What is one thing Downingtown Football taught you that you carry with you today?

Never give up, no matter how many setbacks you encounter.
