Downingtown East Offensive Tackle Adham Abouraya was selected to the 2023 Pennsylvania Sports Writer’s ALL STATE team. Abouraya a 6’6″ 280 Senior has signed with the University of Pittsburgh, he will attend Pitt after he graduates in June. Abouraya was an three year starter for Coach Michael Matta’s Cougars offensive line that produced back-to-back running backs who accounted for 2,000+ yards from scrimmage. He is a member of Downingtown East’s Academic Honor Roll, Abouraya is also an All ChesMont and All Area team selection.
